Albufeira is located in the center of the Algarve being a town belonging to the district of Faro, with about 40.000 inhabitants. It is bordered to the west and northwest by Silves, to the northeast and east by Loulé, and to the south extends the wonderful and wide coast of the Atlantic Ocean, with beaches surrounded by stunning cliffs. The Mediterranean climate brings hot and dry summers and mild winters with a minimal rainfall. Tourism is the most important activity of the municipality of Albufeira. In the restaurants you can enjoy the wonderful fresh fish and the extensive bars throughout the county. The nightlife is one of the most exciting in the Algarve. Albufeira also has a marina, theme parks and commerce, that suits all tastes for those enjoying this beautiful city.
